The Community Awareness & Prevention Unit (CAP) focuses on establishing a relationship with community stakeholders. Building a healthy and safer community by raising awareness to prevent criminal activity that may prey on our residents, youth, and seniors.
The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office (CAP) unit is committed to open discussion between residents, schools, and stakeholders in Kane County to build and strengthen our community partnership. The CAP unit has joined the efforts to volunteer in a variety of community prevention events with Kane County.
Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office staff are available to speak at community events on topics about community safety, participate in community events and employment career days:
